The Ghost Hunter Guidebook ...................Troy Taylor
One of the best guides for new hunters written in  an approach that's easy to understand.

Ghosts............................Hans Holzer
A classic. Holzer holds a Ph.D. from the London College of Applied Science and taught parapsychology at the New York Institute of Technology
for 8 years. He has written over 120 books and is listed in Who's Who in America.

The Book of Ghosts.......................Trent Brandon
A good reference for ghosts in general.

These next three books are not really ghostly. But they are a great read!

"The Legend of Dudleytown" is written by Gary P. Dudley. He is a direct descendant and he addresses the lore and legends of this deserted village in Connecticut, debunking them.

"Mothman and Other Curious Encounters" by Loren Coleman. Mr. Coleman is the leading cryptologist of our time. He also writes about such entities as Lizardmen, Thunderbirds and the work of John Keel, the classic writer on the unexplained.

"Weird Ohio" is a book just for fun. It's written by James Willis, Andrew Henderson & Loren Coleman through an association with Mark Sceurman and Mark Moran. The latter two have published Weird New Jersey magazine for years. It talks about the strange legends and stories of our state.
