I am a historian specializing in Native/Canadian Fur Trade history pre-1800.

I am also a mother to three wonderful sons: James, a historian like myself, Benjamin a police officer recently deployed to Iraq, and my beloved son Jason, who was killed in Iraq May 19 2007.

I've always believed in the paranormal, but had never experienced anything, aside from dreams, until last year. It was something, but in a good way.

I enjoy reading, times with sons, my cats, and travelling.
